March 28, 2017

A Leading supermarket chain in the UK recently implement the Egg Shipper as a preferred packaging option from their suppliers when delivering to the RDC’s. This was introduced as the chain found increasing cost in the supply chain from damage product and lost eggs.  After many trials the system was approved and rolled out. It now has saved the Supply chain over £3 Million in damages & returned goods as well as improving transport and on shelf utilisation. The ‘rising base’ feature also gives the perception of a fully stocked POS ( Point of Sale) , this has a key benefit in re-stocking half empty displays.
